What is White Labeling ?
The term
"white label" had its origins in the music industry when LPs were
distributed in
plain white
jackets to a limited number of people to test their market potential.
The
manufacturing industry adopted the term to describe goods made by one company
and marketed
under another company's brand eg. Mazda/Ford, Isuzu/GM and Dell
computers.
Today, we use the term "white
label" to describe unbranded web-pages for
inclusion in your web-site. In other words, you can embed your topics in
in your portal using our learning pedagogy.
We've listed
a few examples below but don't let us limit your imagination:
1. A single topic displayed in your web-site to
communicate key concepts
2. A list of subject-specific topics displayed
inside your web-site
3. Community education / edutainment
4. Community-specific portals eg. sports,
manufacturing, safety, education etc.
5. Indigenous language groups
